Everything you need to know before booking your locker.
How big is a locker? How many bags fit inside?
All our lockers are the same size. One locker comfortably fits 1 large suitcase (up to 80 cm / 32" tall) plus a cabin bag, or 2 large backpacks, or several smaller bags.
If you have more than 2 large suitcases or oversized items (skis, stroller, large instrument), we recommend booking multiple lockers.
Where exactly are you located?
We are at 3 Boulevard Gambetta, 06000 Nice, just minutes on foot from the Promenade des Anglais, the Old Town and Nice-Ville train station.
Easy access by tram (line 2, Gambetta stop) and several bus lines serve the neighborhood.
How does locker access work?
Right after payment, you'll receive an email with your personal QR code and your locker number. When you arrive, scan the QR code at the entrance — the door opens automatically.
You'll then have access to the locker assigned to you for the duration of your booking.
Is access really available 24/7?
Yes. The storage is accessible any time of day, every day, including weekends and public holidays, throughout your booking period. Drop off and pick up your bags whenever you want.
I lost my QR code, what should I do?
No worries. First, check your spam folder. If you still can't find it, email us at contact@promenade-lockers.com or call +33 4 23 13 69 24 with your name and booking date. We'll resend your access within a minute.
Can I modify or extend my booking?
Yes, subject to availability. Contact us by email with your booking reference. An extension will be charged at €15/day or €100/week.
If your original locker is no longer available for the extension, we'll assign another free locker.
What is the cancellation policy?
You can cancel your booking up to 48 hours before check-in and receive a 50% refund of the amount paid. After that, or once the booking has started, no refunds are possible.

Are my belongings insured?
Our service is a secure locker rental, not a custody contract. Under article 11 of our Terms, we decline any responsibility for the goods stored.
We strongly recommend you never store high-value items, jewelry, cash or identity documents in the lockers. For these, your personal home or travel insurance may cover the risk — check with your insurer.
What payment methods do you accept?
Payment is made online only by credit/debit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) via the secure Stripe platform. No cash payments are accepted on site.
Your card data never touches our servers.
Are lockers always available?
We have 24 lockers. Availability depends on dates: during peak tourist periods (summer, events in Nice), we recommend booking in advance. The booking form shows live availability for the dates you select.
Can I get an invoice for my company?
Of course. The confirmation email already contains a receipt valid as an invoice. If you need an invoice with your company name and VAT number, email us at contact@promenade-lockers.com with your billing details and booking reference.
What happens if I don't pick up my bags on time?
Any overstay incurs a fee of €25 per day started. After 30 days without contact, items will be considered abandoned per article 7 of our Terms.
If you know in advance that you'll be late, let us know — it's always easier to extend a booking than to handle an overstay.
Is there a cutoff time on check-out day?
Your access stays open until 11:59 PM on your check-out date. You have the entire day to pick up your bags.
